Council Activities
The Knights of St. Gerard's are involved in a variety of activities including raising funds for charitable giving, assisting the parish in cleanup and maintenance, assisting those in need and providing an organization for fraternal friendships and faith sharing.
The Knights
host Pancake Breakfast's and Soup Supper's to
raise funds to be donated to a variety of charitable
causes throughout the year, and will continue
these efforts to assist those of the parish and
community in need.
Some of the other activitites include the Baby Bottle Drive held annually in the Fall to assist the Robbinsdale Womens Clinic, Tootsie Roll Campaign to assist the mentally challanged in our community and assistance with the Corn Fest Bingo to help the annual Parish fund raiser.
The Knights have regularly scheduled meetings to plan for and coordinate the efforts needed to make sure these events can be accomplished. At the same time these meetings are used as a source of fellowship and prayer.
Meetings
are held the third Tuesday of the month at St.
Gerard's and begin at 7:15 p.m to allow for the
Religious Eduacation teachers and student time
to exit the building and open up the classrooms
for other events. All members are encouraged to
attend meetings as availability allows.
